This is a great sushi spot in downtown Portland, the food was great quality and restaurant itself was very nice for a date or dinner with friends. When we visited the resturant wasn't too busy but we still had a bit of a wait time. The staff was pretty accommodating to walk ins for a Friday night. We orders a ton of stuff from the menu to try and our favorite were the tuna truffle crispy rice and the bamboo dragon. All the rolls were great and pretty different from one another offering a good variety. The kitchen menu was also very good, specifically the miso glazed cod. Overall I would visit Bamboo again and recommend others to check out this spot.

I visited Portland for a few days and bamboo was recommended to us. We would agree that it was delicious. I got the bamboo dragon roll and the nigeri set - it was the perfect amount of food. Super fresh and flavorful. We sat at the bar which was comfortable and friendly. Would certainly recommend!

I had a great experience here, hostess was super nice and awesome and let me bring in my two beautiful Taiwanese adopted children (I know they don't look like me but it was nice not to be stared at for once) Got to try the green machine!!!

On top off their efforts at sustainability they truly provided some of the best sushi experiences ever! My group ordered a bunch of signature sushi rolls and shared it family style with various vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. I forgot the names of the two vegetarian rolls but they were delicious and had the perfect little crunch. We ordered one of the rolls again because it was so good! The spicy salmon (not pictured) and the Friday the 13th roll both tasted fresh with a nice balance of flavors. FYI they have half priced wine bottles on Mondays and Resonance Pinot Noir was such a hit with our group. In total the price was pretty reasonable especially if you use their daily deals. Service was great and it was clean and spacious inside with lots of outdoor spots.
